I've been here several times and it is one of my favorite Korean places in DFW. Tofu soup is their specialty. I recommend trying it. Setting: Family style ambiance. It's clean. They have embellished the decor a little. Servers are working hard and prefer to speak to the Korean members of my party. Food comes quickly. Food: Everything I've had is good, but the soft tofu soup is the clear standout. It comes with a number of sides. We've had a couple of their seafood pancakes and it is a nice appetizer, but a bit greasy. I went here with my (white) parents and my mother loved the tofu soup. My father ordered the bibimbap and I think had some regret.

I'm gonna open by saying - I have come here MULTIPLE, multiple times. It's my go-to Korean restaurant in Carrollton & my girlfriend also loves it. :) I must also apologize for giving 4 stars before...not sure why. Anyways! Interior ambiance - really roomy and homey. Gives a family style restaurant type feel. :) Wait time is not too long usually - the menu features multiple soup options and main dishes. I almost always get the seafood tofu soup + bulgogi beef, very good pricing for the portions you get. Free sides come with the dishes, of course! The tofu soup - oooooo so soft. I really love the seafood soup broth too, feels rich and not too heavy. Seafood is well portioned and the soup comes with rice which pairs every well. Bulgogi is a little sweet but not overwhelmingly so. Plentiful portion size on that too. I come back often and will keep doing so! Great place :) PROS: - parking is easy - roomy interior and ambiance - staff are friendly and quick - food portions are great for the price - tofu soup is so soft and broth is yummy CONS: - none! :)

Amazing side dishes and great tofu soup! I got the seafood and beef combination and it was fantastic. You get the best of both worlds! In addition, the seafood pancake was delicious too, highly recommend ordering it as an appetizer. Value: 8.5/10 Food: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Experience: 8.5/10

The cold noodles here are so fucking good I've thought about it for 3 years. The first time I came here was 3 years ago and still to this day it's the best cold noodles I've ever had and I've dreamed about coming back to Dallas just for this. Finally back 3 years later and it still tastes as good as I remember. The broth is so flavorful and I love the sweetness of it. The banchan (sides) they have here are also good and I like how there are different things from other Korean restaurants.

One of the most flavorful soft tofu soup in DFW! Cho Dang has expanded their business over the last year to now having another location in Plano and even opening their own banchan (Korean side dish) store called Jinsu Korean Food Catering in Carrollton. Their expansion is the testament to their delicious homely cooked Korean Food. You have to try their soft tofu soup! (5/5) Seafood Tofu Soup They don't skimp on the protein here! Seafood version comes with oyster, shrimp (skin on) and clam. I got level 4 spicy and it was just the perfect amount of heat and the broth has soooo much flavor. (4.5/5) Oyster Tofu Soup If you love oysters, you must order this one. Meaty oysters and their texture when cooked almost resemble that of tofu and pairs well together. I still preferred seafood though as it had a bit more depth. (4/5) Cold Arrowroot Noodles Cho Dang actually specializes in these cold noodles as well on top of tofu soup. The cold broth had a lot of flavor with slightly tart, beefy, and light palate. The noodles are chewy (as they should be) and it's really refreshing.
